What is an invisible character?

An invisible character is a Unicode character with no visible drawing, so when you copy and paste it, it looks like a blank space or gap where there is actually a valid character.

They are mainly used to create blank names in games and apps where a normal space is not allowed, to send messages that look empty, or to leave blank lines in a bio. Even though the eye cannot see them, to the app they are real characters that take up a position.

It helps to tell two types apart. Some characters, like the Hangul Filler (U+3164) or the ideographic space (U+3000), occupy a visible width: they look like a gap. Others, like the zero-width space (U+200B), have true zero width and are not visible at all. For a nick with a “space” you want the first type; to split or join with no gap, the second.

How to set an invisible Free Fire nick

1. Copy the character

Press “Copy” on the U+3164 (Hangul Filler) character, which is the most compatible with Free Fire.

2. Paste it into your name

Open the game, use a rename card and paste the character as your full name (for a fully invisible nick) or between your letters.

3. If it is rejected, switch character
